Yolande Letshou
Yolande Letshou has been an artist for over 5 years, originally specialising in Landscapes and Life drawings. She loves using and experimenting with colour as you will see from her early works and current collection "Love Genevieve".
Paul Cezanne's use of colour and capture of Still Life played a major influence in her still life works. Her favourite Artist of all time is Frida Kahlo.
In 2007 she developed and launched her own fashion Art range entitled "Love Genevieve" which was named after her mother 'Genevieve' who has inspired and motivated her throughout her project. Her collection has a lot of French influences reflecting her heritage.
At present the collection is available in Paris ( French agent: Michel Betito of Betty 9) and Various Boutiques in London and online via this website and www.4seasonsshop.co.uk

" She is my favourite Artist of all time. Her works really reflect the saying "A picture says a thousand words". When I looked at her paintings for the first time many years ago, without even reading the text I was immediately feeling her emotions and what her life was about!. Her works are really expressive and I also love her use of colour and focus of the face."
Fashion Show Directing...
" I have directed numerous fashion shows including most recently (March 08) La Dolce Vita's Style Lounge Catwalk shows catering to an audience of 35,000 people over a 4 day period. Working with young people...
"I have done a range of projects and workshops with young people from schools in and around London and absolutely love it. I Love sharing my passion and knowledge with enthusiastic youths who aspire to become Artists or simply enjoy the whole concept of Art and Fashion. I always love giving something back to our young people of today.

On the future...
I am currently doing a Fashion collection where all the proceeds will go towards helping young people in disadvantaged areas to build their knowledge and create more opportunities for them to develop their work. Having worked with and taught so many creative young people on projects I have found that their main obstacle appears to be lack of finance for even simple things such as research"

"I originally trained as a Journalist and have a degree in Journalism. I am a regular writer for various online websites which include La Geneve North online, www.lagenevenorth.co.uk (One I started myself in s/s 06), www.fashioncapital.co.uk, www.nolchametier.com. I aim to write more features next year on the subject of Art which will also be posted regularly on my website"
